The arrangement of this line of log sets is lower profile, where the logs are laid more horizontal stacking on top of each other as opposed to vertically or “Teepee Style” like the Custom Premium and Custom Luxury. It contains three split logs which have the flames coming through them making them look incredibly realistic and actually on fire. It also contains a variety of differently sized diameter and length whole logs, two handcrafted pine cones, and branches. It includes twigs and sticks of varying sizes with pine needles. All of which is handmade by our skilled artisans in our shop nestled in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado.

These log sets have double the amount of logs and work put into them as compared to the custom series. Therefore, it is safe to say that there is going to be a considerable amount of difference in terms of heat output as compared to the Custom Series. The amount of heat put off from this series of log set will be like a medium sized or “mellow” wood fueled fire. And they do have the potential to put off substantial heat depending on the burn time.

Our split logs, which are included in a Custom Plus log set, have been hand crafted to look like a 1/4 or 1/2 of a round log that has been split with an axe. We take this one step further and cut the backs out of these logs, then we carve charred marks into the front of the logs. We position these logs in the log set where the flame will actually come through these charred marks in the log making the split log look like it is actually on fire with the flame coming though. Because of the lower height profile on this model it is great to be used for tabletop fire pits, which are typically taller, so it can still be easily seen over. The beauty in a Custom Plus log set is in the simplicity and natural arrangement. More pinecones, split logs or our highly sought after peeled bark logs can be added.
